Well, hello, everybody. It appears that there is no death, slaughter, thermonuclear destruction going on to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem as the eternal capital of Israel. I am certain, however, that the day of reckoning is much closer than anyone can imagine. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran has announced that it is “too late” for the world to stop Iran from developing its nuclear energy program, which of course is code for starting nuclear war with Israel. This was said only two days after announcing his opinion that the Lebanese forces of both Al Qaeda and Hezbollah (last year), and the Palestinian war against Israel is “the pushing of the buttons on the end of Israel.”
Of course, the big issue is whether this is all just bluster by a very ineffective leader of an impoverished Third World country, or whether he is truly telegraphing his intentions to destroy Israel and with it, the USA? Well, the clock is ticking. They will have 3,200 warhead-developing nuclear fuel centrifuges, enough by the end of the year to make up to 20 nuclear bombs per year! Is everybody ready for the picnic that will be? Is there any doubt that once Iran has those weapons, they will use them. They have already tested missiles that can travel up to 4,000 kilometers (2,500 miles), enough to hit western Europe. Needless to say, that helps explain why the French aircraft carrier ‘Charles de Gaulle’ and 3 U.S. aircraft carriers and their support ships are in the Persian Gulf, the first time that many warships have been in the Gulf since the beginning of the Iraq War. The war is coming, and there is no avoidance possible.
Tick, tock. Tick, tock.
